The project completed in Lausanne is a significant example of urban regeneration, transforming a former disused industrial area into a modern, efficient residential complex fully integrated into its surroundings. Located between Avenue de Provence and Chemin de la Colline, the new development enhances the area with a refined and elegant architectural approach, respectful of both the environment and the neighborhood’s history.

Comprising two interconnected buildings, the project maintains a respectful distance from the nearby historic Sévelin Temple, creating new public spaces while completing the urban frontage. The architecture blends seamlessly into the existing urban fabric, combining simplicity with character.

The ground floor hosts essential services such as a Denner supermarket, a dance studio, and an APEMS childcare facility. The underground levels include a multi-storey car park and technical rooms. The 77 apartments, available in various layouts, are designed to offer natural light, comfort, and social diversity.

Magnetti Building played a key role in the project by supplying prefabricated concrete elements for the load-bearing structure. Thanks to the use of prefabricated panels, the construction process benefited from reduced timelines and improved precision. The façades, clad in ochre-colored concrete with sandblasted and smooth finishes, give the building a distinct identity while ensuring durability and resistance to weather conditions.

Sustainability was a central focus: green roofs, photovoltaic panels, and energy-efficient ventilation systems help reduce environmental impact and improve living comfort. A new pedestrian path and green areas further enhance the development, making it a model for innovative, efficient, and future-oriented urban housing.
