The new Bergamo headquarters of Hewlett Packard will be one of 63 global production, research, and development centers operated by the American company. The selected area is located on the border between the municipalities of Stezzano and Bergamo, fulfilling the region’s accessibility needs. Noteworthy logistical advantages also stem from the proximity to the main HP Italian headquarters in Cernusco S.N. and the presence of skilled labor in the Bergamo province. The structure and cladding of the three main buildings were constructed by Magnetti Building S.p.A., which used its proprietary automated design software and building materials expertise to find aesthetic and technological solutions that met the client’s specifications. The exterior cladding of the buildings, approximately 4,500 square meters of insulation, consists of panels made from concrete.
