Coop Trescore

The Ipparco multifunctional center, which includes a Coop supermarket, is spread across three interlinked building blocks. The choice of materials for the construction of the complex focused on prefabricated reinforced concrete elements for the structural part, along with perimeter cladding made of vertical panels with an exposed concrete finish, also prefabricated. The aim was to reinterpret the humble material of reinforced concrete and break away from the verticality imposed by this type of panel. This was achieved by adding an inset on the cast surface, which provided the means to create a regular grid pattern on the façade.
