Coop Como

The new Coop in Como, located on Via Cecilio, was inaugurated at the end of November 2020. This marked the first step in a broader urban renewal project for the Rebbio district. Built alongside the old structure, which was demolished in early 2020, the current store stands out for its significantly larger size—around 2,500 square meters—with ample parking, including a covered area. The design is eco-friendly, featuring materials like wood and green roofing. This aesthetically appealing project also benefits from the valuable contribution of Magnetti Building, a leading name in the prefab construction industry. In collaboration with Redal, the Saronno-based company that won the tender, Magnetti Building handled the full supply of the prefabricated components that define the building’s shell, made with self-cleaning white panels.
