STANDARD-SETTING ARCHITECTURE
The expansion of the German School of Milan was completed in only 18 months, redefining the whole block of buildings near Parco Sempione. The construction is characterised by the use of prefabricated panels, for which Magnetti Building developed an aggregate mix, obtaining a surface similar to the “ceppo” limestone, a type of stone mainly used in the cladding of the existing building. Mr Broggi, an architect from the Broggi + Burckhardt architectural firm, who above all appreciated the technical services carried out during the product research stage (a concrete mix) as well as the prototyping activities performed by the Carvico-based company, claims that the “German School in Milan is an excellent example to prove how working with a leading-edge company in this sector such as Magnetti, leads to results that are out of the ordinary in the field of heavy prefabrication”.
