NO PRODUCTION STOPS FOR THE ENLARGEMENT OF THE PLANT OF CVB, A COMPANY OF THE AGRATI GROUP, SPECIALIZED IN MOULDING FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE AND ELECTROTECHNICAL SECTORS.
From the foundations to the roof, a turnkey project involving the Magnetti Building team for the enlargement of the Vercelli company of over 6,000 m2, including the construction of two new office buildings, without any interruption in production.
Carvico (Bg), 25 February 2019 – Magnetti Building, a company from Bergamo specializing in prefabrication, was the protagonist, in collaboration with the designer Arturo Montanelli ARDEA Lecco, of the project for the enlargement of over 6,000 m2 of the CVB, a reference company for industrial fastening belonging to the Agrati Group, world leader in fastening systems and components. Already a long-standing customer of Magnetti Building, CVB chose for the first time the turnkey solution, the construction of the complete building work, from the foundations to the roof. A real challenge for the company that finished the work, while the continuous cycle factory continued its activities without problems.
Founded in Vercelli almost 30 years ago, CVB today represents a pole specialized in the production of moulded parts for the Automotive and Electrotechnical sectors. Its requirement was not to be able to interrupt the production of its continuous cycle factory under any circumstances. This is where the extreme flexibility of the Magnetti prefabricated unit and its turnkey project comes into play, which has allowed CVB to continue its work without a day’s rest. The team’s ability to assemble allowed the work to progress in pursuit of the shifting of the production lines so as never to stop the activities.
The design was created in BIM – Building Information Modeling, the method for optimizing the planning, management and implementation of buildings with the help of intelligent software and 3D graphics. The three-dimensional representations allowed to help the department managers to organize and coordinate the relocation of production so as not to run into operational blocks.
An important project for CVB which, thanks to the collaboration and experience of Magnetti Building, was able to find the best solution for the success of the order, with the advantage of having a single contact person to accompany him throughout all phases of the intervention. The result was a turnkey project, which guaranteed the control and coordination of all the construction phases, capable of not affecting the operation of the factory and therefore keep it in continuous activity.
