Deeply involved in this “green european project”, Magnetti Building confirms its corporate policy that has always focused its attention to the environmental impact of its business activities and construction solutions.
Carvico (Bg), 19th July 2018 – Magnetti Building is a partner of “InnoWEE”, the innovative project relating to the recycling of waste deriving from the construction and demolition of buildings, based on new formulas in geopolimer technology, in terms of economic feasibility, performance and technological advancement. This specific project foresees the development of prefabricated panels to insulate architectural building enclosures, such as “ETICs – External Thermal Insulation Composite systems”, ventilated facades and radiant panels for internal heating or cooling purposes. After having carried out lab tests, the panels will be tested in Italy, Belgium, Greece and Rumania under different environmental conditions and energy requirements.
InnoWEE is the European response to the so-called Construction Demolition Waste, that has, as its main aim, the re-use of waste material coming from the construction and demolition of buildings. A project that Magnetti Building has undertaken with great enthusiasm and passion, in confirmation of its constant corporate commitment towards sustainability.
The proposal requires an initial treatment of the demolition waste so as to produce secondary raw materials suitable to create prefabricated components. The second step is to develop new, high-performing geopolymer insulation panels for use as building infills, in addition to radiant panels for internal walls and ceilings, capable of ensuring high thermal performance levels, guaranteeing low energy consumption and reduced environmental impact. Equipped with the best bonding systems in terms of practicality, simplicity, rapid installation and dismantling, environmental protection, the ease of integration into construction projects as well as minimum maintenance requirements: these are the particular characteristics that distinguish the panels, the result of a process obtained thanks to a new, convenient, reliable and resistant material.
