Panzeri

Founded in 1968, Panzeri S.p.A. is today a leading company in Italy in the field of industrial systems, with a strong focus on innovative technologies aimed at energy savings and the use of alternative energy sources. For the company’s new headquarters, it was decided to integrate the administrative area into the building as a unified space with the more strictly production-focused section. Hence, the idea was to treat the “industrial box” as a container, overcoming its volumetric rigidity and introducing a highly articulated spatial system inside. Natural materials were chosen for the construction of the building, treated with utmost simplicity: darkened larch slats for sunshades and the main façade, industrial oak slats for the floors, and natural or treated iron for stairs and various finishes.
