A new strategic hub for industrial mobility

The new Scania Italia headquarters in Milan West was born from a clear vision: creating a space capable of embodying the brand’s values — innovation, sustainability and attention to people — within one of Europe’s main logistics corridors dedicated to industrial transport.

For Scania, proximity to customers is a strategic priority. The decision to establish operations in the Milan area reflects the company’s desire to ensure faster response times, operational efficiency and a direct presence in the territory.

Magnetti Building supported the client through the development of a turnkey “Opera” project, managing every phase of the process: from design and engineering to construction and final delivery.

A project built around the client’s needs

From the very beginning, the project was driven by clearly defined goals shared with Scania Italia:

  • creating an efficient and sustainable facility;
  • optimizing long-term operating costs;
  • developing flexible spaces capable of adapting to future needs;
  • enhancing the well-being of the people who use the building every day.

The continuous dialogue with the client transformed project complexities into concrete opportunities, resulting in a solution capable of combining technical performance, architectural quality and user experience.

As highlighted by Scania Italia’s management, people-centered design was one of the key aspects of the project: safe, functional and welcoming environments designed for both employees and customers.

A highly technical project

The new Scania Italia headquarters represents a technically complex construction project, managed by Magnetti Building through an integrated approach focused on quality, timing and cost control.

Among the most significant activities was the installation of prefabricated wing-shaped roof beams, designed to form the building’s roofing system — a solution that guarantees high structural performance, construction efficiency and long-term reliability.

The entire project was carried out with constant attention to maintaining the agreed budget without compromising quality standards or the performance requirements defined by the client.

Innovation, sustainability and future vision

The project fully reflects Scania’s vision: creating spaces capable of supporting the evolution of the industrial mobility sector.

Energy efficiency, sustainability, digitalization and flexible environments are the pillars of the new headquarters, designed not only to meet current needs but also to support the company’s future growth.

Through this project, Magnetti Building confirms its ability to develop tailor-made, high value-added solutions where technical expertise, client collaboration and integrated project management become the defining elements of the final result.
