The works for the construction of the new COMS headquarters in Esine (BS) were completed a few weeks ago.
The company COMS is a mechanical carpentry workshop specializing in the production of steel structures and equipment. Founded in 1978 in Cividate Camuno, an area historically linked to ironworking, COMS’ works range from civil and industrial structures to machinery and various equipment, highlighting the union between carpentry and mechanics. The company, currently led by Fabrizio Gregori, boasts over 40 years of experience and is considered a reference point by around 45 clients. Over the years, the company has responded very positively to technological change and innovation: the construction of the new headquarters is further proof of its constant desire to grow and conquer new markets.
In Valle Camonica, the issue of disused areas is quite common, so the company decided to invest in the redevelopment of a site that had been unused for over ten years, instead of taking new land: thus providing a valuable solution to a landscape issue while also offering a new production hub for the municipality of Esine and the broader Brescia area.
The work was entrusted to Magnetti Building, a leading name in the prefabrication and construction sector. A 5,000-square-meter area has been developed to house both a production facility and an innovative office building. The location of the new building is highly visible, being close to the Esine hospital, on the road leading from Brescia to Ponte di Legno, which is why the new COMS headquarters also meets various aesthetic requirements. The innovation of the project is also evident in the new overhead cranes, which now have a capacity of 50 tons, surpassing the average of most prefabricated structures.
What unites COMS and Magnetti Building is a strong focus on modernization and a forward-looking approach: a constant search for new, more technological and innovative solutions.
