At the gates of the Cavallina Valley in the Bergamo area stands the project commissioned by Bena Costruzioni S.r.l., a new hub for commercial, industrial, and artisan units, located in an area destined to become one of the main “gates” to the town. Simple, essential, and geometric shapes characterize this complex, for which the designers were inspired by the principles of neoplasticism. The result is an architecture that leaves no space for decorative elements, using only “non-colors” such as white and black, with the only distraction being red (a primary color) for the numbering of the doors and the arches on the large glazed surfaces of the building. The dynamism of the surfaces is created by geometric mechanisms that emphasize the linear combination of crossbars and uprights.
