The Intervention of Magnetti Building: To meet the needs of Acciaitubi, a company specializing in the production of metal pipes for sectors such as plumbing, electrical, structural engineering, scaffolding, and signage, Magnetti Building has completed a significant expansion of the production facility located in Terno d’Isola (BG). The main objective of the project was to create a new warehouse space without internal structural constraints, ensuring maximum flexibility of use.
Description of the Project: The new building, designed as a single unit with a span of 25 meters, was constructed using the Tecnoplan beam and macroshed elements. This design solution allowed for optimal natural lighting of the interior spaces, thereby reducing energy consumption for artificial lighting. Furthermore, the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof further contributes to energy savings and the environmental sustainability of the entire complex.
Sustainability and Innovation: The building was constructed adjacent to the existing production area, with some of the pre-existing panels being reused. This design choice minimized waste from demolition and maintained a visually cohesive appearance for the main wall. The new warehouse stands out for its sustainable architecture and the use of advanced technologies aimed at energy efficiency.
Services and Functionality: To complement the warehouse, Magnetti Building also constructed a small building to house the production support services. The exterior cladding of the building was painted white, giving the entire complex a unified and integrated appearance.
Construction: The project was delivered with a “turnkey” approach, covering all stages from initial excavation to final details, including the installations. The entire project was completed in just 6 months, demonstrating the efficiency and expertise of Magnetti Building in managing and executing complex and large-scale projects.
Thanks to careful planning and the choice of innovative and sustainable solutions, Magnetti Building fully met the needs of Acciaitubi, creating a functional, efficient, and environmentally-friendly building that will support the company’s growth and future development.
