FORMAL AND CHROMATIC ARCHITECTURAL DISTINCTIONS
The building was designed as a single block that does not allow the distinction between the production and design/display areas from the outside, except for the long ribbon windows on the ground and first floors. The main entrance is on the north side and allows direct access to the office block, on two floors covering a total of approximately 1,200 m2, arranged around two wide open-air courtyards that provide natural light also to the distribution areas and operational offices. The choice of the formal system, due to the “L-shaped” lot available, was also dictated by the need to rationalise production processes. The offices are situated at the northern end of the building.
